Youth Events
Wednesdays, April 2, 9 & 30 at 10:30 am: Preschool Story Time
Join us for stories and songs! Children's books will be available to check out as well. Before you leave, pick up an activity to make at home! This event takes place in the library.
Please note: Story Time on the 16th has been cancelled.
Fridays, April 4, 11 & 18, 3 pm: Lego Club
Kids ages 6+ enjoy themed Lego play after school. Please register! This event takes place in the library.
Wednesday, April 2, 3 pm: Seed Bombs
Learn how to make bundles of seeds, perfect to gift, or just toss in a garden! Materials provided. Ages 8+ Please email libraryfairfax@gmail.com or call 849-2420 to register! This event takes place in the library.
Wednesday, April 9, 1 pm: Egg Carton Flowers
Create floral wreaths and bouquets out of painted egg cartons! Materials provided. Ages 8+ Please email libraryfairfax@gmail.com or call 849-2420 to register! This event takes place in the library.
Wednesday, April 30, 3 pm: Bird Feeders
Use recycled materials to make bird feeders! Materials provided. Ages 8+ Please email libraryfairfax@gmail.com or call 849-2420 to register! This event takes place in the library.
Adult Events
Saturday, April 12, 10:30 am: Silent Reading Party
Book group too much of a time commitment, but still want to meet other readers? Come to our silent reading party! Bring any book you like, and settle in for an hour of silent reading with your fellow book lovers. Afterward, you can discuss what you've read over refreshments! This event it geared toward adults, but all ages are welcome! Registration appreciated, but not required. Please email libraryfairfax@gmail.com or call 849-2420 to register. This event takes place in the library.
Thursday, April 24, 3 pm: Library Book Club
The book this month is The Editor, by Sara B. Franklin. A Zoom link will be available for anyone who wants to attend remotely. If you would like to borrow a copy of the book, or request the Zoom link, please contact the library at fairfaxlibrarian@gmail.com or call us at 849-2420. All are welcome!

The Joint Board, comprised of school and public library and Select Board representatives, will hold its semi-annual meeting. See the meeting agenda on the Board of Trustees page. Please contact the Library for more details, and for the Zoom link if you want to attend virtually.
