The Fairfax Community Library regularly accesses large print materials for patrons through the Vermont Department of Libraries' ABLE Library.
The ABLE Library is a free resource for qualifying Vermonters, offering a variety of services directly to patrons.

- The ABLE Library connects patrons of all ages to the services of the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled.
- It offers a collection of large print and digital talking books featuring all genres, many print braille picture books, as well as audio-described DVDs.
- The ABLE Library hosts a book club and welcomes new members.
