The Fairfax Community Library regularly accesses large print materials for patrons through the
ABLE Library through the Vermont Department of Libraries. This is a free resource for qualifying Vermonters, offering Large Print and digital talking books and a variety of other services directly to patrons.

• The ABLE Library connects patrons of all ages to the services of the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled.
• It offers a collection of Large Print and digital talking books featuring all genres, many print braille picture books, as well as audio-described DVDs. ​
• The ABLE Library hosts a book club and it welcomes new members.
