Vermont Youth Book Awards
Our school and library participates in all three of Vermont's youth book awards. Students in grades K–12 and homeschooled students are encouraged to participate.
Red Clover Award
Students in grades K–4 choose their favorite picture book out of ten nominees.
Dorothy Canfield Fisher Award
Named for famous Vermont author Dorothy Canfield Fisher, this award for best juvenille fiction or non-fiction is chosen by 4th–8th graders from a list of thirty nominees. VPR produces a local radio show highlighting books from Dorothy's List. Here is the link to VPR's web page about the show.
Green Mountain Book Award
This award was created for high school students in grades 9–12. They vote for their favorite young adult fiction or non-fiction book from a list of fifteen nominees.
